Nancy G. Schafer (nee Foley), age 84, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Chicagoland Christian Village.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Joseph W.; children: Julie (Charley) Ross, Connie (Ed) Schiesser and Clancy (Cheryl) Bullock; grandchildren: Jamie (Jason) Symmes, Lisa (Charlie) Palmer, Kristin (Nathan) Dykes, Becki Schiesser, Jonathan Bullock and Sarah (Dustin) Sterrett; great-grandchildren: Hailee and Blake Dykes; brothers: Tom (Mary) Piper and Arthur (Gerta) Piper; sister, Barbara Smith.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Clarence Bullock; sister, Connie Sweigart.
Nancy graduated from Crown Point High School, Class of 1948. She worked at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point as a surgical secretary for 11 years and was a member of PSI IOTA XI Sorority. Nancy loved playing bridge and enjoyed shopping.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN at 11:00 AM with Fr. Pat Kalich officiating. Entombment will take place at Maplewood Memorial Cemetery in Crown Point, IN.
