She married Oscar J. DeLange in Belgium in 1904. (He was born in 1880 and died July 19, 1952.)

Oscar DeLange's sister was Josephine DeLange Maldeghem (1882-1948).

Per cemetery records, Alice DeLange was 98 years old at the time of death and last resided in Rock Island County. Her nearest relative was her niece, Germaine "Jennie" McWilliams, daughter of Josephine Maldeghem. A native of Belgium where she was educated, she moved to Chicago in 1910. In 1976, she moved to the Quad Cities to be near her niece and her family, living with Lenny & Jennie McWilliams at their home in Taylor Ridge for a period of time before transitioning to the Rock Island Convalescent Center, where she was when she passed.

During both World Wars, she was an active Red Cross volunteer, receiving recognition for her work from President Richard Nixon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, five brothers, two sisters and her husband.

She was called Taunte Liese, which is Flemish for Aunt Alice, and she loved to sew.
