SPRINGSTEAD - Graveside services for Edith B. Livingston, 71, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2020, at the Tsenaaoshjin family plot.
Livingston died April 29, 2020, in Springstead. She was born Sept. 8, 1948, in Rehoboth. She was born into the Two Who Came to Water Clan, born for the Mountain Cove Clan.
Livingston attended Pinedale Day School and Chemawa Indian School. She was employed at various businesses in Gallup and Church Rock Senior Center. Her hobbies included doing puzzles, traveling, sewing, coloring, cooking, going to casinos, and attending traditional ceremonies to help people. Her favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include her husband Harry R. Livingston; daughters Sophia Becenti, of Springstead, Elaine R. Livingston, of Springstead, Camille Livingston, of Springstead, Ethel M. Livingston, of Springstead, and Charlene B. Dooline, of Springstead; brothers Tony Becenti Sr., of Pinedale, and Harrison Becenti Sr., of Pinedale; sister Esther Largo, of Pinedale; 23 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Livingston was preceded in death by parents Jack and Elsie Becenti; brothers Richard Becenti, Ned Becenti, Jack Becenti Jr., and Virgil Becenti Sr; sisters Alice B. Begay, Stella B. Begay, Marilyn B Morgan, Helen B. Miller, and Loretta Becenti; son Hayward Livingston; daughter Jeanette Slivers; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Leo Nez Jr., Tyler C. Nez, Larrison Nez, Eli Delgarito, Robby Manuelito, Vernon Nez, and Daniel Koss.
