Schenck--Mrs. Emma Schenck, 75, widow of John Schenck, died at 7 o'clock Thursday evening of last week at the home of her daughter Mrs. Joseph Herr, Howard, RD., where she also made her home. She was a lifelong resident of the Howard vicinity and was a member of the Fairview Evangelical Church. Other survivors include one other daughter Mrs. Jane (James) Smith, of Howard RD.; three brothers John and William Lyons of Howard and Harry Lyons of Lock Haven and a sister Mrs. William Bowes, residing in New York.Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon from the home and were concluded in the Evangelical Church at Howard, with the Rev. L.E. Kline officiating. Interment was made in Schenck Cemetery
