Jerry L. Wilson, 66, 320 S. John St., died Tuesday evening at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness. Mr. Wilson was born May 27, 1905, at Dakota City. He moved to Sioux City as a young man, and he had lived here since. He married Elizabeth M. Haberer Dec. 14, 1945, at Dakota City. He was employed at Robert’s Dairy for 40 years, retiring in May 1967. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, and Monahan Post 64, American Legion. Survivors include the widow; two sons, Larry L. of Mountain View, Calif., and Robert L. of Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Hansen of Sioux City; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Harold (Thelma) Desy of San Dimas, Calif.; a brother, Donald R. of Santa Ana, Calif.; six sisters, Mrs. Robert (Bernice) Herfel, Mrs. Maxine Felt, Mrs. Art (Helen) Kobernus, Mrs. Glen (Lorraine) Rosemeyer, Mrs. John (Pat) Hutchinson and Mrs. Roland (Donna) Weise, all of Sioux City, and 12 grandchildren. The body was taken to the Manning-O’Toole funeral home.

Funeral services for Jerry L. Wilson, 66, 320 S. John St., will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The Rev. Odoric Akwick will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of the Manning-O’Toole Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Kenneth B. Hockenbury, Joe R. Gatewood, Eugene Glotzel, George Wendt, Elwood K. Radtke and Melvin H. Larson. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
