Mrs. Elva S. Powell, 92, of 208 N. Pine St., died this morning in Culver Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Born Sept. 10, 1883, in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of Enoch and Julietta Linn. She married Thomas Powell, who is deceased.
Surviving are two sons, Clayton of Crawfordsville and Lyle of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a brother, Harvey Linn of Crawfordsville; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;
and a great-great-grandchild. Two sons, Lester and Leslie, and an infant daughter are deceased.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Miller officiating. Burial will be in Mace K of P Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
