Rialto Man Fatally Burned From Blast
Clarence E. Johnson, a partner and manager of the Rialto citrus by-products plant who was burned in a gasoline explosion at the plant last Friday died from his injuries last night in St. Bernardine hospital. He was 30 years old and had lived in Rialto during the last two and one-half years. The body was placed under care of the Simpson funeral home in Rialto where arrangements for funeral services will be completed today.
Mr. Johnson, who was a native of Bear Lake, Utah, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cora Johnson, a daughter, Clara, and a son, Norman, at their home, 350 North Willow street, Rialto. Also surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson, of Roosevelt, Utah; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Poulton of Salt Lake City and Miss Larine Johnson; and three brothers, Narval, DeArmon and La-Mar Johnson.
