Funeral of M. E. Foulke Today at the First M. E. Church
Funeral services for the late Morris Edkin Foulke will be held from the First Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The community was saddened at an early hour Sunday morning by the passing away of M. E. Foulke, of Fontana. He was 67 years of age.
Mr. Foulke came to Rialto 33 years ago and today there stands in his memory the two tall rows of eucalyptus trees going down the center of the main thoroughfare and the road to Los Angeles, he being the first tn break the path to the west, saying as I started, 1 must drive straight, for someday this will be the road to Los Angeles.
There survives a widow, one daughter Mrs. C. M. Huston, and one son, Charles Foulke, of northern California.

Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Hill drove to Glendale early yesterday morning for Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Foulke and daughter, Eleanor. They went because of a message that Mr. Foulke's father, (Continued on Page Nine) (Continued from Page Seven) who has been critically ill for many weeks, was sinking, but he passed away before they were able to get young people here. Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the Methodist Episcopal church in Rialto.

Morris Edkin Foulke was born on February 27, 1850, in Ohio. He married Annetta Miles on September 21, 1877, in Allen County, Kansas. They had five children during their marriage. He died on July 1, 1917, in Rialto, California, at the age of 67.
