NO NEWS OF THE ACCIDENT.
No Details Have Yet Come Explaining the Deplorable Death of Lambert Foulke.

The funeral services of lambert Foulke were largely attended last Sunday morning, considering the inclement weather, and his remains were laid away in Park cemetery. No definite word lias as yet been received in response to appealing letters and messages asking for an account of the sad tragedy, but the body bore witness to the truth of the newspaper reports.
Lambert was a vigorous young man, 21 years old, whose school days were passed in the Rialto schools, though he was born at Piqua, Kansas, from which State his parents came at the settlement of this colony. His thoughtfulness for his parents was manifested in the very last letter received from him, which contained the usual remittance from his earnings. His death is deeply deplored and brings sadness to ninny hearts here.

M. E. Foulke of West Rialto, received yesterday.
terday a telegram telling of severe injuries that had befallen his son Lambert in a railroad accident near Placerville. He immediately started for the scene, but was overtaken by a second message, telling if his son's death. Mr. Foulke returned from Los Angeles. No futher particulars have yet been learned, though Mr. Foulke has continued in his efforts to obtain information. The message came from the Eldorado Lumber company, where young Foulk was working. The homecoming of this young man in this lamentable way is in sad contrast to his coming home in health and good spirits, which his family here anticipated in the near future.
