Annis Grayson Black, age 82, of Hickory passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Catawba Regional Hospice in Newton. Born November 16, 1934 in Pageland, SC, she was the daughter of the late Smith Helms and Eunice Desrae Grayson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Robert Black, 2nd husband, Gilbert Dale and a daughter, Charla Young.
She is survived by:
Daughter: Julie Hefner and husband Randy of Hickory
2 Sons: Chuck Black and Russell Caffery, both of Greensboro
3 Grandchildren: Chrissie Ward, Chesley Walls and Hank Hefner
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the home of Julie and Randy Hefner at 5565 George Henry Drive, Hickory, NC 28602.
