It is with regret we announce the passing of Mr. William Glen “Piggy” Parks, age 83, of Fayetteville, TN. Mr. Parks was born on May 7, 1936 in Lincoln County, TN to the late William Frederick “Fred” and Frances Wilson Parks. He passed away on April 23, 2020, at Donalson Care Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Glen attended the University of Tennessee as an Agriculture major. Upon his return to the community, he was employed by Ralston-Purina in North Carolina and farmed pigs in the Mulberry Community. He later went to work for Anheuser-Busch Turf farm (Nutri-Turf, Inc.), and retired from American Development Corporation as a chemical salesman. He enjoyed hunting and gardening.

Survivors include his wife Julia “Sissy” Grey Motlow Parks, daughters, Katie (Jon) Walker of Fayetteville; Grey Parks of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Josie Walker and Mattie Walker; sister, Martha Ellen Neal of Murfreesboro, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Glen was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jo Hutchison Parks.
