Tamar is the wife of Robert Chappel. She was born in Newlyn, Cornwall, England. She had at least 7 children, 5 of whom survived childhood.

The Chappel's immigrated twice to America. First in 1873 and second in 1881 after Sam Noble's father returned to Cornwall, England and recruited several families to come work in the "new" company town. Other family surnames who emigrated were Jewell, Ellis, Gartrell, Hockings/Hockins, James, and Tonkin.

I would love to correspond with other descendants of these immigrants.
