Mrs. Thelma A. Jones, 77, of Fredericksburg died Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Mary Washington Hospital.
A Stafford County native, Mrs. Jones had retired as a cutter for the G & H Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
The widow of Walter T. Jones, she is survived by a son, Walter T. Jones Jr. of Fredericksburg; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Grim of Richmond and Mrs. Irene E. Fisher of Fredericksburg; a sister, Miss Katherine Maxwell Armstrong of King George; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with the Rev. Walter Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Grim, Keith Grim, Stuart Shelton, Clayton Spindle, James Bauer and William Williams.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday.
