Walter Edwin Armstrong, 74, of Stafford County died Monday at his home.
A Stafford County native, he was retired as a sheet metal worker for the Naval Surface Weapons Center in Dahlgren.
Mr. Armstrong is survived by a son, Dwight C. Armstrong of Fredericksburg; a daughter, Rozella "Rudy" Stevens of Woodford; two sisters, Miss Katherine Maxwell Armstrong and Mrs. Thelma A. Jones, both of Stafford County; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Stafford County, with the Rev. E. T. Bourne officiating.
