Betty loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed being outdoors and making her yard look nice. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by her children, Steven Lloyd (Dianna) Alvey, Joseph; Christine A. Morrill, Richfield; and Samuel Preston (Shelly) Alvey, Escalante; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Clea Woolsey, Escalante; Rosalee (Jerry) Coleman, Kanab; Kathleen (Steven) Goulding, Henrieville; and sister-in-law, Virginia Porter, Woods Cross.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, parents; brothers and sisters, Shirley Porter; Ann Barnett; Richard Porter; Denny Arnold Porter; two infant brothers; and brothers-in-law, Vardon Woolsey and Max Porter.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at 12 Noon in the Escalante 1st Ward LDS Chapel. Burial will be in the Escalante Cemetery
