Mrs. Charles Fitzpatrick dies Tuesday Evening.
One of the most unusual occurrences known to medical science, a second Caesarean operation proved fatal to Mrs. Charles R. Fitzpatrick, well known young woman of Pleasant township, who died Tuesday night at 9:18 o'clock at the St. Vincent's hospital in Indianapolis. Mrs. Fitzpatrick's condition had been regarded as very favorable up to 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, when a change for the worse was noted by her nurse and she grew worse rapidly until death.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick was taken to the St. Vincent's hospital on Tuesday, November 3rd. On Wednesday, the operation was performed and the child, a fine boy, who was given the name Donald Wayne, was saved and said by the nurses and physicians to be an unusually fine specimen of babyhood.
When Mrs. Fitzpatrick's first child was born in 1921, a Caesarean operation was necessary to save mother and child. This child, a little girl, Wilma Lou, is living and the young mother is survived by her husband and these two little children.
Funeral services will be held from the Community church, of which the deceased was a member, Friday morning, at 10 o'clock, and the burial will follow in Greenlawn cemetery, Franklin. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Gray, pastor of the church.

Early in life she moved with her parents to Johnson County and had lived in this county continuously until her death. Her father is a county commissioner-elect of Johnson county and the family is well known here. Mrs. Fitzpatrick's mother is a daughter of Mr. John E. Walters, the Walters family being one of the largest family in the county.
On August 23, 1916, she was united in marriage to Charles R. Fitzpatrick, a son of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Fitzpatrick, and their married life had been spent in Clark and Pleasant townships where Mr. Fitzpatrick is a leading young farmer.
