Nearly 90 Years Old.

Dear Courier: — Your correspondent and daughter, Miss Amy, Misses Sigourney and Mattie Keyser, Mr. W. H. Keyser and sons, Mrs. G. H. Cave and Mrs. A. L. McAlister attended the funeral of their aunt, Mrs. Polly Berry, at Elkton, last Sunday. She was 89 years, 10 months and 14 days old, and had been a consistent member of the Methodist church for 66 years. Funeral services by Rev. F. N. Cupp, of the U. B. church, her pastor being absent at the annual conference in Roanoke. The deceased leaves five children — Mr. John A. Berry, of Elkton, Va.; Mr. Robert H. Berry, of Plymouth, Ill.; Mrs. F. Workman, Mrs. Milton Hensley, and Mrs. Annie Kite, Elkton, besides a number of grand-children and great-grand-children, to mourn her departure. She had been confined to her bed for four years, though her mind continued clear to the end.
