Prince Hubertus Karl Wilhelm of Prussia was the third son of Crown Prince Wilhelm of Germany and his wife, Duchess Cecilie of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. He was married on December 29, 1941, in Oels, Schlesien, to Baroness Maria Anna von Humboldt-Dachroeden. They divorced a little over a year later in early 1943 and on June 5, 1943, he was married to Princess Magdalena Reuss of Köstritz.
