He was born June 30, 1929, at Kingman the son of Floyd and Gladys Day Beard. A resident of Kingman for most of his life, he retired from Pickrell Drilling Co. after forty years of employment.
Warren attended the First Bapist Church, Kingman; and was a U.S. Army veteran.
On Dec. 28, 1953, he married Ella Braddy at Russell, Kansas; she died Aug. 2, 2007. Survivors include sons Scott and Stan; daughters Sundra Lane and Theresa Darnell; brother Jim; and sister Betty Jansen; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a daughter Starla Howes; and brothers Thomas, Everett and Lynn.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Friday with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Kingman County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
