"Dr. DeGRASSI'S FUNERAL.- The remains of Dr. DeGrassi were followed to their last resting place on Saturday afternoon, from the family residence, King street east, to St. James's Cemetery, by a large number of friends and acquaintances. The following gentlemen acted as pall bearers:- Hon. Mr. Morris, Ald. Blevins, Mr. John Small, Mr. J. Massey, Mr. A. W. Smith, and Mr. J. Grover. Rev. Mr. Sanson, was the officiating clergyman on the solemn occasion, when the remains were placed in the family vault."
