Chester Lee McGonigle was the son of Ray William McGonigle and Lillie Mae Hill, born in Mead, KS. Chester joined the U.S. Navy in 1957 from which he retired after 21 years of service. While stationed in California he met Carole Joann Smiddy who became his first wife and the mother of his two children. Son, Ronald Clyde McGonigle 4/28/1962 and Daughter, Lillie Annett Marie McGonigle 7/2/1965. Chester has one Grandson named Adam Joseph Van Grinsven born to Annett and Adam Van Grinsven on 5/25/1991. Chester later married the following: Sheila Irene "Main" Chosner(July 20, 1969) Vivian Joyce Butcher(August 29, 1971) Phyllis Jean "Spechdt" Bartlet(March 30, 1980) and his Surviving wife Leallah Cissy "Franklin" Chamberlain(April 11, 1994. Chester died after a long battle with Cancer after several years of being cancer free from previous stomach cancer his life was taken from us by lung cancer. Memorial Services were held in Tucson, AZ for his family and friends and his cremated remains were then laid to rest with his mother, father, sister and brother in the Salem Cemetery.
