St. George, UT - Cecil D. Hill, age 85, passed away April 15, 2020, in Hurricane, Utah. He was born October 31, 1934 in Holbrook, Idaho, to William and Ruth Hill. He married LaVoy Coleman in the Salt Lake City Temple in Utah on March 7, 1958. After LaVoy's passing in 1997, he married Margaret Lundell.

He was raised in Holbrook, Idaho, on a farm. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vancouver, Canada. He then attended BYU where he obtained a Bachelor of Science and later a Master of Arts in Educational Administration. He also served in the US Army Reserves. He had a long career in teaching K-12 school and accounting. He served five missions with his wife, Margaret after retiring. Throughout his life he enjoyed riding his bicycle and his ATV and spending time in the outdoors. He enjoyed meeting and making new friends. He was very dutiful to his family and loved serving his Heavenly Father.

He is survived by his wife: Margaret; children: DeVon (Jan), Julie, Sherri (Wade), and Arlene (James); 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at 1:00pm at the Orem City Cemetery, Orem, Utah. Due to current circumstances, if you would like to participate remotely, please contact a family member.
