Max passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at his daughters home in Omaha. Max Kenneth Bain, son of Orville and Maxine (White) Bain, was born on July 28, 1936 in Shenandoah, Iowa. Max was raised in Shenandoah where he attend school. Max graduated from high school with the Class of 1954. Following graduation Max enlisted in the United States Army. He served his country with pride until his honorable discharge in November of 1962. He had obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant. On January 17, 1960 he was united in marriage to Mae Ann Herron in Omaha, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Farragut for almost 60 years.
Max worked for the nurseries in Shenandoah for several years before joining Jack Copeland as an electrician. Upon Jack's retirement, Max purchased the business and renamed it Bain Electric.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mae, parents Orville and Maxine, brother Rex and sister Judy Powers .
