This is Gladys Gillespie. She was visiting my grandmother, her Aunt Maude.
Grandmother made her some new dresses. She was starting school in the fall. This is one of her new dresses. She never forgot this trip. She was telling me all about it the last time I talked to her.

The boy in this picture is Chip. He emailed me recently and raved about what a wonderful person Gladys was to him as a child. He was not blood kin and didn't see her but a very few times as a child but he never forgot her and her loving and caring ways.

Jade with Lois and Gladys and a half Gillespie sister. Jade was so thrilled to meet her 5th cousins. I am glad they met. Lois and Glady both gone a short time later

Jade with Gladys' dog. Jade had such a good time. I was talking to Jade. She is a straight A student. I said you are so beautiful and so smart, any man will be lucky to marry you someday. Gladys said, she may forget a lot of things but she will always remember you saying that to her. She will never forget it.
