Robert Allen Rose, 77, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at his residence. He was born on August 14, 1942 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Elmer L. Rose and Olive B. (Mull) Rose. Robert was retired from Cummins Engine Company, where he worked for 30 years. He graduated from Scottsburg High School, had served in the Indiana Army National Guard, was a member of the Moose Family Center #2324 and Fairview Christian Church. Robert enjoyed the outdoors and especially hunting, fishing and mowing his lawn. Survivors include his wife, Sue Ann (Mount) Rose; two sisters, Joyce Higdon (Walter) and Judith Owen (Jerry) all of Scottsburg, Indiana; four stepchildren, Jana Grammer (Rodney), Jason Holland (Anna), Justin Holland (Dionna) and Natasha Grider (Kyle); several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a son, Randal A. Rose. Private graveside services on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 in Scottsburg Cemetery will be for immediate family only
