BREAUX BRIDGE ~ Private services will be held on April 14, 2020 for Beverly Alleman. Born on April 7, 1949, God sent his angels to carry our mother home on April 9, 2020 at 4:27 p.m. After a long journey with her illness she was ready to meet Jesus.

We've never known another woman to endure so much pain and suffering, yet never complained and was always forcing her best fight. She will always be remember as one of God's toughest warriors. She has finally beat lung and ovarian cancer and received her healing. We always knew she'd have victory because of her commitment to Christ. He has changed her in so many ways!

She was a mother and grandmother of strength, love and most certainly protection. She was compassionate and giving to anyone in need. She was an excellent caretaker for 18 years. Her patients became like her family, they loved and adored her. She got the compassion of care-taking from her mother (Etheleen), who was also a caretaker, Second to none. That was then passed down to her daughter Michelle. She was a proud supporter of St. Jude's Hospital for half of her life. She worshiped and praised God for many years at Crossroads Church and when her body was too weak to go, you can bet to find her in her fluffy chair watching church on t.v. and praising God in her bedroom. Her Bible has tons of handwritten scriptures written with her own fingertips and that Bible will be the foundation for her great and great great grandchildren to come. She left a legacy beyond compare, as a grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter and lifelong caretaker, Michelle Verret of Breaux Bridge and Chuck, who was like a son to her for twenty-nine years; daughter, Donna, of Breaux Bridge; son, Roy Chiassion (Chris) of Burkeville, TX; her precious grandchildren, Destinie, Desiree, Dalannie, Dannee, Courtney, Callie, Brittany, Chloe, Jadda, Caidyn and Simone; her great grandchildren, Daileyn, Nevaeh, Malaya, Kate, Jude, Laighla, Braylenn, and her new unborn grandbaby mothered by Courtney Lormand; her bonus grandchildren, Landon, Lacy, Cody, Mallery, Brody, Trent and Cassie; and her brothers, Russell Alleman (Judy), Mike Alleman and Delton Touchet, Jr. (TeeTee).

She is preceded in death by her son, Carl Chiasson whom she missed and loved so much; her parents, Etheleen Thibodeaux and Joseph Alleman; her grandparents, Reme and Louise Thibodeaux, and Jules and Oneia Alleman; her brother, Ronald Alleman (Boonie); Tina Chiasson who was like a daughter to her; and her great grandson, Braileyn Smith. mothered by Jadda Chiasson; and her great aunt, Amythe Alleman (Nanny).

Pallbearers will include her sons, Roy Chiasson and Chuck Verret, Caidyn Chiasson (grandson), Jacob Lewis (grandson), Logan Matt (grandson), Trey Perry (grandson) and Dannee Verret (her grandson and best friend).

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to staff of Lafayette General Medical Center, Cancer Center of Acadiana (Mrs. Molly Thomas and Maressa), the staff of Hospice of Acadiana (Alyson and Carol) and the staff of LAMM Care Hospice (Heather and Margie).
