Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 3:30 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Ronald J. “Boonie” Alleman, 69, who passed away at his home in Duson on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 12:17 A.M.
Pastor Berl Adams will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Scott.
Survivors include his wife, Gayla Melancon Alleman of Duson; one daughter, Rhonda Alleman of Opelousas; one son, Ryan Alleman of Duson; one step-daughter, Georgette Wingate of Church Point; one sister, Beverly Alleman of Lafayette; three brothers, Russell Alleman of Rayne, Mike Alleman of Lafayette and Delton Touchet of Lafayette; seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the services will be Nathan Pontinff, Chad Vidrine, Colby Boggs, Danny Melancon, Kyle Boudreaux, and Cody Venable.
Mr. Alleman was preceded in death by parents, Sidney Alleman and Etheleen Thibodeaux; his father-in-law, George Melancon, Sr.
