Nell Tribble Bartlett Endowed Theatre Scholarship
Nell Bartlett started the Drama Program at Del Mar College in 1935 and taught at the college until her retirement in 1969. The Nell Tribble Bartlett Endowed Theatre Scholarship was started in 1988 by family and friends. Every semester, awards ranging from $1000-$1500 per student are given to Drama majors interested in either performance or design and technical theatre. Scholarships are awarded to students who exhibit a high level of artistic promise, academic achievement, and leadership. An audition is required.
