Lenore F. Chrysler, 89, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Friday Dec. 28, 2001 in Florida.
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was born near Center Point on Feb. 18, 1912. She was a member of Hus Memorial Presbyterian Church, Cedar Rapids. Living in Cedar Rapids for most of her life, she had been a resident of the Rehabilitation and Health Care Cenater of Cape Coral Since August, 2001.
Survivors includ her only daughter, Billie D. Roseberry and husband Richard R. of Cape Coral; a brother, Wilbur Bednar of Osage; grandchildren, Richard L. "Rick" Roseberry and Dana S. Roseberry, both of Cape Coral; and her only great-granddaughter, Dawn M. Roseberry of Cape Coral.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Antonia Koutny Bednar of Vinton; two brothers and two sisters.
She had been head cook at various Cedar Rapids restaurants as well as owning several on her own. She also worked at the Roosevelt Hotel Grill for many years.
Lenore will be cremated and interred in the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton. Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. is in Charge of arrangements. Final arrangements are pending.
