Peggy Sue Mathes, 70, of DeBary, FL Florida passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020.

Peggy’s passion was her family...she loved unconditionally and was a sweet, compassionate, and gentle soul, for real, for real. She loved to stay in contact th her family and friends through facebook...and boy they are numerous. You would’ve found her spending time with her family and friends, fishing, flower gardening, watching humming birds, or walking and drinking plenty of sweet tea. She had a strong relationship with the Lord and read her bible daily. The hole left in our lives is cavernous, but the love, memories of her, and eventual reunion will keep us strong!

She is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Bernice Bonnette; brother James Bonnette.

She is survived by her husband Jr. Mathes; children Michael Mathes (Misty), Ernie Mathes ( Kimberley), Jimmy Mathes ( Lori), Shane Mathes ( Michelle), Chrisiti Mathes (D.J.), and Moose Mathes; sisters Carolyn Fioranelli (Mike), Theresa Barnett (Bobby); brothers Roger Bonnette (Cheryl), Phillip Bonnette (Brenda); grandchildren Mira, Jarret, Ty, Jett, Shaynah, Nico, Violet, Courtney, Caylyn, Taylor, Kara, Brandon (Brandi), A.J. Chocolate Drop, Jelly,Boo Boo, Liam, Tripp, Tommy, Michael, Makayla, and Traycen; great grandchildren Braiden, Sophia, Breelyn, and Rylee; numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

Graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Terry Kirkland officiating. Family will receive friends 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 10, 2020 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
