Mary E. Thompson Starling, 85, Day Town, FL passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020. The Live Oak, FL native lived most of her life in Suwannee County but moved to Day Town from Live Oak in 1991 and was a member of Brewer Lake Baptist Church. She was a hair stylist at Beaus and Belles Beauty Shop; she loved crocheting gifts for her family and friends. Mrs. Starling also loved reading, crossword search puzzles, gardening along with baking and cooking. She called everyone sweetie and always had a plate of cookies to share if she had visitors. Mrs. Starling I survived by her daughter: Linda Driver (Charles); six grandchildren: Dianna Mobley, Christopher Driver, Chad Driver, Krystal Cundiff, Paula Ann Thompson, Amber Taylor; ten great-grandchildren: Meghan Mobley, Mason Mobley, Hadley Jane Driver, Adelyn Cundiff, Avery Cundiff, Ava Baker, Mackenize Olson, James Keen, Lindsey Langston and Trace Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Floyd Connell Thompson, Albert Starling; son: Paul Ervin Thompson and brother: Jesse David Lee. Grave side memorial services will be held at 10 am Tuesday, April 14th at Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Michael Hornback officiating. In lieu of flowers family asks that donations be made to Haven Hospice 6037 US HWY 90 W Lake City, FL 32055 or Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.
