The son of engine driver Robert Adams Amesbury and his wife, Ellen/Eleanora (nee Moon), Albert was privately baptised by the curate of Twerton parish on 7 March 1887, shortly before his death at the age of 23 days. He was laid to rest on 12 March 1887. His sister Fanny is buried with him.
