Charles R. Fisher "Bob" Bob was born On October 26, 1927. He passed away on April 18, 2015. He grew up in Marysville, Wash. where he met and in 1948 married his wife, Thelma. They had four boys and a girl. He drove a log trucks and long haul freighters until 1957 when his brother, Don, a Sheriff, suggested he apply to become one himself. He was hired and worked up the ranks to become Under-Sheriff. Then he and Don started Snohomish County Volunteer Search & Rescue. Bob organized and ran it until his retirement from the Sheriff's Office in 1978. Thelma passed away form cancer in 1980. Bob met and married his present wife, Jean in 1981 and became the father of her three boys and a girl. He became the Dad they never really had. He never considered anyone a stranger. Always had a story, loved to talk, fish, hunt, sit around a campfire and playing Bluegrass and Country music. He and Jean spent many years traveling to Arizona where he played horseshoes and music in Quartzite, Ariz. They eventually put a modular at Susie and Steve's and lived there for 14 years, Those were great times for them. He was a camp host at Banks Lake for many years and was looking forward to another trip in June for large mouth bass fishing. He leaves his wife of 33 years, Jean; sons, Chuck, Dale (Carrie), Don (Christy), Gary (Cindy); daughter, Sue (Steve); Mike, Craig (Cheryl), Cathy (Chuck); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. There will be no funeral. A Memorial Celebration and Potluck (please bring food and drink) will be held at Machias Elementary at 12 Noon-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2015, 231 147th Ave SE, Snohomish, WA 98290
