She was born Jan. 6, 1936, to Felix B. and Aurea Perez in the Philippines.
She married Johnny Abejar on Jan. 25, 1964. She was an accounting clerk with
the state of California for 22 years. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Abejar of Palm Springs; her daughter, Jennifer Abejar of San Francisco; four sons, Edward, Alex, Jonathan and Dennis Abejar of Los Angeles; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Ramon Chapel, Palm Springs Mortuary in Cathedral City. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Palm Springs. Burial will be at Desert Memorial Park cemetery in Cathedral City. Arrangements are under the direction of Discount Cremation
