She married Dr. Chase De Long on August 17, 1967 and they moved to Laie, Hawaii in 1977 where they lived for 17 years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Travel Management from Brigham Young University Hawaii in 1982 and worked in the travel industry until she retired in 1994. During her retirement years she served missions and for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with her husband Chase and also enjoyed many hours as a temple worker. She cherished her service as a docent at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park and was also a proud member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Marguerite on July 9, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Chase; her sisters Nina Wolters and Sophie Romans; her brother George Bogdanovich; her sons Lynn and Chip De Long, and her daughter Mary Stapley Hauser; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 11 at Palm Mortuary 6701 N. Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV. 89131. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5160 W. Lone Mountain Rd. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
