CLARKSVILLE - FERRARO, JOSEPH, 89, formerly of Clarksville, IN, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Autumn Woods Health Campus. He was a native of New York City, NY, a retired production worker for Colgate Palmolive, a member of Graceland Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Violet Ferraro. He is survived by his five children, Joseph P. Ferraro and his wife Peggy, New Albany, IN, Marilyn R. Carmack and her husband Vinson, New Albany, Angie G. Kenley and her husband Dennis, Indianapolis, IN, Terry G. Ferraro, Sellersburg, IN, Michael D. Ferraro, Clarksville; a sister, Rose De Sio, Redwood City, CA; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Joseph Ferraro will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, at Scott Funeral Home's Main Street Chapel, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-8 p.m. on Thursday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
