Richard A. Mills, 62, died July 30, 2007 at his home. He was born in Fort Pierce, and was a longtime resident before moving to San Jose.

He was employed as a truck driver in the transportation business.

Survivors include his sons, Willie Hudson of Fort Pierce and Jason Evans of Newark, NJ; daughter, LaWanda; brothers, Walter Mills of Fairfax, VA, Mack Mills of Fort Pierce, Raymond Mills of San Jose and Kenneth Mills of Fort Washington, MD; and sisters, Mareya Schneider, Carrie Ross, Pinkie Miller, Shirley Adderly and Frances Watson all of Fort Pierce.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Pinkie (Asbury) Mills Sr.; and brothers, Donald Mills Sr. and Jesse Mills Jr.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Aug. 10 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home Fort Pierce. A service will be at noon Aug. 11 at Greater Faith 13th Street Church of God in Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce. A guestbook may be signed at www.stonebrothersfuneralhome.com.
