In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Dee, Gerald, and Ray Byrum; and a sister, Ruby Hodges.
Survivors include a son, Keith; two daughters, Connie and Carla; two sisters, Helen and Jewel; and a grandson, Tyler.
