Ruby Hodges, 76, of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville.

She was born Feb. 5, 1942, in Hector, daughter of the late Ellis and Agnes Stone Byrum.

She retired from the Area Agency on Aging after 15 years.

She loved garaging, swimming, cooking and caring for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Kenny Hodges, Greg Hodges and Mark Hodges; and a daughter, Tammy Hodges.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill Hodges; son, Mike Hodges; two daughters, Debbie and husband Terry Dennis and Brenda and husband David Wolfe; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jewel Harris and Helen and husband Ronnie Tackett; brother, Junior Byrum; sister-in-law, Barbara Trainor; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are private under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home, 2405 E. Parkway, Suite 3, Russellville, AR, 72802.
