Richard was the son of Henry and Anna (Zawadska) Geborek. He died at age 4 of a liver disease. He was a very bright little boy who loved the farm and the animals. When he lost part of his finger in a farm machine he did not cry because it hurt but rather because he thought he wouldn't be able to milk cows!
Richard is buried in the older St. Peter & Paul Cemetery. His parents are in the new one near the church.
