~ Ida W. Moore was a daughter of Seldon & Nita Stone Wise, and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She and her husband Barney raised eight children as sharecroppers in South Carolina. She was dedicated to God as a prayer warrior. Her favorite activity was being in church! Before she went to Heaven, she gave her Pastor her last tithe. She passed from this world on a Tuesday, and her Pastor had the honor of placing her final tithe into God's storehouse on the following Sunday. She was commited to God to do His work on Earth. Her work here for God's kingdom continued even after she went to be in His presence. As a child, I would spend the night with her at her home. She would retire early to her bedroom and would begin praying for her family, neighbors, etc. This would begin around 8 P.M. and would continue into the early morning. Upon waking the next morning, she would already be up and preparing breakfast for her family. I don't know if or when she slept. She loved God, her family, and everyone she met! She also loved gameshows, especially 'The Price Is Right', and would pray for Bob Barker, the models, and the contestants. She was truly gifted with the love of God. At the time of her passing, she had 28 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She sincerely lived up to the word GRAND mother! ~
