WINSTON R. WISE

Florence -- Winston Ralph Wise, 60, died Friday in a Charleston hospital after a long illness.

He was born in Pamplico, a son of the late Brantley S. and Nita Stone Wise. He was a World War II veteran.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nelson Quick of Belmont, N.C. and Mrs. Larry Thomas of Gastonia, N. C.; two sons, David A. Wise of Pamplico and Charles R. Wise of Polona, Ill.; five sister, Mrs. Ida Moore of Gastonia, N.C.; Mrs. Daisy Evans of Florence, Mrs. Mabel Benton of Hannah, Mrs. Ada Cathers of Sisterville, W.Va., and Mrs. Dorothy Evans of Pamplico; four brothers, Wilbur and Oliver Wise of Johnsonville, N. C. Charlie Wise of Hannah and Sam Wise of Gastonia, N. C. and nine grandchildren.

Services will be 4 p.m Sunday at Waters Funeral Home with burial in Sandhill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
