Funeral for Eulus Herschal Hill, 90, of Danville will be Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Godbee, the Rev. Wendell Callahan and the Rev. Wayne Penn officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hill, who died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital, was born Jan. 31, 1918, in Lawrence County to Wattie Wallace "Bunk" Hill and Lela Filyaw Hill. He was retired from Solutia as a pipe fitter. He dearly loved his children, grandchildren and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Addie Bee Hensley Hill, one daughter, Sherry Hill Hensley, four brothers, Truitt Hill, Pete Hill, Truman Hill and Don Hill, and one sister, Ola Hill Hogan.
Survivors include one son, Randall Hill and wife, Sylvia, of Danville; one daughter, Sheila Hill Kelsoe and husband, Marty, of Danville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dywain Hill, Chad Kelsoe, Dustin Kelsoe, Blake Hill, David Thornton and Jason Montgomery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brenda Hill, Amy Montgomery, Amanda Kelsoe, Tim Hill, Tina Morgan, Samantha Thornton, Reagan Montgomery and Brayden Montgomery.
