HARTSELLE--Funeral for Clyde Truman Hill, 65, of Lawrence County 203, Speake, will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. C. G. Reding and the Rev. Wayne Turner officiating.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mr. Hill was born February 4, 1928, in Lawrence County; was a member of Enon Baptist Church and was retired from Monsanto. He died today at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Vicille Hogan Hill; three sons, Jerry Hill, Terry Hill and Shannon Hill, all of Danville; one daughter, Rhonda Hill of Danville; two brothers, Truitt Hill and Eulus Hill, both of Danville; one sister, Ola Hogan of Danville; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Glennis Woods, Bennett Wiley, Benny Hollis, Lee Brooks, Phillip Black and Kenneth Long.

DANVILLE -- Clyde Truman Hill, 65, of 3895 Lawrence County Road 203, Danville, died Friday at his residence. The funeral was to be today at 3 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. C.G. Redding and the Rev. Wayne Turner officiating.

Burial was to be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Hill was retired from Monsanto Co. and was a member of Enon Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Vicille Hill; three sons, Jerry Hill, Terry Hill and Shannon Hill, all of Danville; a daughter, Truitt Hill and Eulan Hill, both of Danville; a sister, Ola Hogan of Danville; and four grandchildren.
