Sam Frederick Harding, age 68, died March 17, 1980 at Lower Lake, Lake Co., California.

Sam was born in Ozan, Hempstead County, Arkansas on January 1, 1912, the youngest of five children born to Sam Houston and Addie Mellisa Hazlitt.

Sam Frederick Harding was the dearly beloved husband of Nedra Louise Reddell Harding of Lower Lake; loving father of Dana Griffin of Pinole, Wanda Sircy of Richmond, and Nedra Park of Vacaville; beloved brother of Mrs. Blanche V. Harding Faunce, Patricia Martin Schroeder, and Oslar Harding, all of Texas; dear uncle of Jean Roy Novak of Novato, CA. He is also survived by three grandsons, Jake and Mathew Sircy, and Jeffery Mallard.

A resident of Lower Lake for three years and a former resident of Richmond for 38 years; a member of IBEW Local No. 302 of Pacheo; Masonic Lodge of Arkansas.

Friends are invited to attend services Thursday, March 20, at 2 p.m. at Sunset View Mortuary Chapel. Contribution in his memory may be sent to Lower Lake California Volunteer Fire Department, Lower Lake, California. Interment Sunset View Cemetery and officiating Reverend Stanley Franklin
