Robert C. Evans, age 85, from Pulaski, passed away Thursday at Seneca Hill Manor in Volney. Robert was born August 14, 1932, to Christmas and Emily Evans. A 1950 graduate of Camden High School, Robert enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1952-1956, and proudly served his country during the Korean War. On June 26, 1975, he married Marcia Dunn. Then in 1992, after 30 years, as a mail carrier in the village of Pulaski he retired. Robert was also a member of the Pulaski American Legion and Pulaski VFW.

Surviving are, his wife of 42 years Marcia, two, sons Robert Evans Jr. and Wayne Evans, a stepdaughter Julie Merrifield, four stepsons Leonard, Thomas, Michael, and Ira Dunn. Robert also leaves behind Bruce Evans his younger brother and his three sisters, Marylin DeWolfe, Sylvia Rossi, and Beverly Boynton, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
