Lloyd grew up on the family farm, attended Taysom School in Woodville, and served in the Navy during World War II. On May 1, 1954, he married Elva in Basalt. They were blessed with five children in their home in Ammon, where Lloyd worked as a ranch hand and retired from American Potato. Lloyd enjoyed anything outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, snow machining, and driving his four wheeler. Preceding were five brothers and six sisters. Bishop Robert Johnston of Ammon 3rd Ward officiated graveside services, with Military Rites performed by Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Navy Honor Guard.
