Judy is survived by 3 sons; Jon & Cindy Gay of Frenchton, grandchildren, Daniel and Kendra Page, Levi Gay and Kari Gay all of Frenchton. Trenton Gum & Stephanie Young of Morgantown and Seth & Lisa Gum of Norfolk, VA and grandson Wyatt of Miss. Left to cherish Judy memories are nephew Jerod Harman of Buckhannon and niece Erin Shupe of AL. Cousins Ron Hinkle of Buckhannon and Linda Hinkle Sweat of Florida, Jim & Sharon Hinkle Slaughter of Thaxton, Va, Jeff & Sharon Beverage of Sandwich, Ill and Virgil and Sandy Beverage Howell Woodworth of Muskogee, OK.
Judy was a graduate of BUHS 1965 active in the band and attended WVWC. Besides her husband and Father; Judy was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Blosser.
Judy was a lifelong member of NRA. She was a member of the Sand Run Baptist Church. She will be buried beside her husband at Sand Run Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Upshur County Relay for life or American Breast Cancer Society. Judy dedicated her life to care of the elderly, most recently as a 15-year employee of the Upshur County Senior Center. She had a deep love and respect for the elderly. Judy loved traveling and had almost completed her bucket list of visiting 46 of the 50 states. She loved reading, her flower gardens and gardening and canning, and sitting on her back porch in her rocking chair and watching nature. She loved the warm summer breezes. Cherish today, tell those you love today for tomorrow is never promised. A memorial service will held 11 A.M. Monday, November 5, 2018, at the Sand Run Baptist Church in Excelsior, WV.
