My brother, Jim was named after our grandfather Bruner.
Jim was in the Air Force for 4 yrs. He guaduated from Marysville High School in 1956 in Marysville, Michigan.
Brother of Edith. Ex wife, Barbara, father of Jonathan and Susan, grandfather of Amanda, Devon and Jordan.
James Wesley Bruner, age 64, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003.
He loved flying and was an avid sailor. He worked with the Detroit Board of Education since 1967. He received his Master in Education from Wayne State University.
He was the dear father of Jonathan (Elizabeth) and Susan J. Bruner; proud grandfather of Devon, Jordan and Amanda; dear brother of Elizabeth A. (Elvin) Myers, Edith J. Bruner and the late Nancy E. Davis.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Clyne and Sobocinski Funeral Home, 22121 Kelly Rd., Eastpointe.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Detroit Rescue Mission.
