Kilborn A. DeFir, 80, of Memphis, retired machine operator for International Harvester, died Tuesday at Methodist University Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with burial in Forest Hill cemetery East. He was an Army veteran and a member of Frayser Masonic Lodge. Mr. DeFir, the husband of Dorris C. DeFir for 54 years, also leaves a son, Dennis DeFir of Horn Lake; five sisters, Diane Maddox and Gwendola DeFir, both of Dermott, Ark., Grace Acord of Alabama, Gayle Williams of Texas and Lois DeFir of New Jersey; four brothers, William DeFir, Jim DeFir and Robert M. DeFir Jr., all of Dermott, and W.H. DeFir of Louisiana, six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
